Agency 1 was founded by Erin and Dominic Carlevale in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2019, who wanted to offer their expertise and knowledge of the insurance industry to those in their local community.

They came together to found this company with one goal in mind: to simplify the insurance experience by offering every type of insurance, all under one agency.

At Agency 1, customer experience is a top priority — every Agency 1 client is valued and treated with respect.

When you work with Agency 1, you can expect timely and efficient responses around the clock. Every request will be handled as a high priority, whether you’re reaching out to get a quote, submitting a claim, or even just requesting a new insurance ID card.

At Agency 1, your agent won’t bombard you with boring insurance jargon — they’ll explain things to you in simple, understandable terms.

Agency 1 believes that insurance doesn’t have to be boring, which is why the company strives to provide a fun environment and company culture. Prior to founding Agency 1 with Dominic, Erin worked for a Fortune 100 insurance company. While she was incredibly successful there, she found that she wasn’t able to provide service to her clients on the kind of local level that she felt they deserved.

Through Agency 1, Erin and Dominic are able to represent companies that they truly trust and stand behind. As an independent, local agency, they are available to their clients at any hour of the day to offer hands-on service no matter what the request may be. When you work with Agency 1, you’re more than just a number. You’re part of the family.

Erin graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in business marketing. She began her career in the insurance industry while at Penn State, working for a Fortune 100 company.

Over the years, Erin has developed meaningful relationships with dozens of clients and business partners. She is passionate about making insurance approachable and understandable, whether she is explaining coverage or making recommendations to her clients — she is here to be their insurance expert, whatever they may need. She prides herself on providing excellent customer service to her clients, and treating everyone as a priority.

“The best feeling is knowing that you helped a family save hundreds on their insurance, protected their most valuable assets, and provided them with coverage that will be there for them when they need it,” said Erin.

When Erin is not working, you can find her traveling the world with her husband or playing with their German Shepherd, Rex. She loves animals and stays active within the community.

Dominic graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a business degree in accounting.

With five years of property claims experience, Dominic is knowledgeable about the importance of policy language as well as policy limits, which allows him to ensure that Agency 1 clients are properly protecting their most valuable assets. His goal is to utilize this business experience to lead the growth and development of Agency 1.

“Agency 1 combines two incredible things: Erin’s care and compassion for her clients, and my knowledge and expertise surrounding insurance coverage,” said Dominic. “That’s what made me want to start this independent insurance agency with Erin, and it’s what makes me excited to work with our clients every day.”

When he’s not at work, Dominic enjoys traveling, maintaining a healthy lifestyle through working out and eating well, investing in real estate, and spending time with his dog and his fiancé.
